Strain Project

After reading Chapter 4: Strain from the book Contact Art and the Pull of the Print I learned screen printing's initial association with commercialism and advertising. From this reading and open ended assignment, I decided to create a vintage movie poster of a modern movie, Interstellar. The poster draws from a 1968 western film’s color scheme and layout.
